The band has a wide range of personalities and characters. The membership is from a range of areas throughout the west of Scotland. The band enjoys a wealth of experience from band veterans and enthusiasm from its younger members.

As well as providing tuition in the flute and drum the band an invaluable informal education on historical events.

Mission
1) To promote our band through our music and membership to help sister organisations.

2) Support organisations with the principles of justice and equality

3) Promote initiatives aimed at improving the material conditions of the Irish community in Scotland

4) Campaign against racism and sectarianism.

5) We will continue to work with others to eradicate sectarianism and racism in Scotland. The band offer a vision of society which celebrates diversity & rejects discrimination in all its traits.
